Hand bag and pouch bag

Easiest bag that I've done thus far.  I will do another but next time I want to embroidery on them then start the jelly roll around the embroidered design.  Then I'd like to add some nice pocket's on the inside along with a pen holder enough to slide a pen or two.

Little 2 fat quarters and this little Halloween bag came to life. Four pockets two on each side, plus the inside.  Very easy with the use of only two fat quarters. I suppose one could make it heavier or very light depending upon the stabilizer one places with it.

This is RANGO the Chicken Quilt of the West.  Applique and embroidery.  First time using the long arm quilting machine to put together and I completely forgot about the stitch regulator.

Tea sample

An applique sample and fabric printing sample.
Gave it to a co worker who collects tea pots.

Baby Quilts for Co Workers

I made these two little quilts and didn't know what to do with them, One was a jungle mix and the other just some embroidery fonts that I picked up online freebies.
When my co worker had her two children I gave them to her.

Scooby Doo Quilt and Precious Moments

My Daughter was a big fan of Scooby Doo and Precious Moments
I made these two for her when she was younger.

Sparkling Mtn's and sample block

I finished this quilt on the left and I realized that white Muslin doesn't do it any good.
The quilt on the left is called Sparkling Mountains.  I found the pattern in a quilting magazine while reading at Barnes and Nobles.

Embroidered Toilet Paper

A design by Julia Needle Designs, I decided to prank the family household and embroider on the family bathroom toilet paper.
I had to laugh... NO one used the paper and they used another roll as they didn't want to disturb the
design I made.
Festive I suppose

Mother's Day MISSING quilt and Flower mystery quilt

The quilt on the left I made for my Mother, she has passed and I would like to have it back.  It came up missing in the Thumb region of Michigan
I have yet to find it.  If you spot this exact quilt shoot me a message.
The quilt on the right was the first mystery quilt and very first quilt I made in my quilting career.

Bug Quilts

These are two Bug quilts that I made one for Son and one for Daughter
I would like to venture out and create the kind of book case jar quilts that
I see out and about.

Girls Wine Night Out

These coasters were made for Girls wine night out.

Elliana's Quilt

This quilt was made for my Granddaughter, Ellie.  I made the total of three~  her size and two lap quilt for my Son and my Daughter.
I purchased the embroidery CD  from Digitized Embroidery Designs.

Ship Quilt

This was a pattern a friend of mine gave me out of a quilting book.

I found it fun to make and give away.

Dominic Quilt

This quilt was made for a little boy named, Dominic.

Train Quilt

I sent this quilt into my quilter Doreen before I owned my long arm.
She was not happy to quilt it due to the type of material, but it actually quilted fine.
She informed me never to use that kind of stuff again.
But I have.........

Baby Sallach

I had left over fabric and decided I would make a quilt from it.
I ended up placing circles to cover the uneven squares
I sent it to Little Baby Sallach as a gift.

Karie's Quilt

A friend of my son's wanted me to make another
T shirt quilt.
I told her, I have never done one and do not have any pattern and I would try it but couldn't promise.

She gave me her shirts and said it doesn't matter, give it a try.

Boy did I have much to learn.  There is a skill in making those and I had yet to figure it out on my own.

Tiny Sample Quilt

I have never been good at hand stitching.
This was made just as a practice from a kit.
and then I decided I would try to print some sayings on some
printable fabric from JoAnn's

Monkey Baby Quilt

This is the Monkey Quilt.  I purchased this at a local Fabric store as a kit.

My friend, Doreen quilted it with little monkeys.  I found it to be very adorable.

Toddler Quilt

Remember when you went to school and you had
to have your little rug to lie on?
Well this one was made for that and more,

Jelly rolls are nice, Since my Baby Go cutter won't cut that long of strips just yet.

Yoga Quilt

This is the very first Quilt as  you go Quilt that I tackled.
Lets just say it doesn't work well when washed.  I ended up stitching each square together
much more than the directions.
Even though I washed all the fabric before hand, once it was done and yoga and work outs
made the floor, the wash took each square apart.
Lesson one:  When doing a Quilt as you go.  Make sure you connect each square even after
the fact.

Bug Jar Quilt and Ohio Star

The first time making the Bug jar quilt.  I gave the first one to my Neighbor, I actually made the shelf!  ha ha.  The next one, Ohio Stars, was just a scrap one, I had a book pattern and decided just to use up the scraps in the bin.
Unlike most of my other quilting friends, I don't hoard fabric.  I don't have shelves of it and I certainly don't want to waste any more money as I long to own a Gammill one day.

Daughter's !st T Shirt Quilt

She had all those old T shirts.  I didn't know what to do. I was a newer T shirt quilter.  I ventured out and tried to make one with out any instructions on how to!

I was able to complete it and she took it off to College with her.

Now she has all sorts of "College" shirts and well, you know what this Mom will be doing again,  but this time I learned how!

Valentine Day's Quilt

I will have to take the top right square out and re do it.  I have yet and this is one of those UFO's all quilters talk about.  When I fix that issue, I hope to make heart shape boarders around it.
Not sure which Love of my life will obtain this!
It was for my Mother, but Jesus had more in store for her.

Coaster's

Everyone at Christmas at work was able to get one of my coaster's
I dabbed at how to make them and was practicing FMQing.
Perhaps I need a tad more practice but for the most part
they would work great at home just for show.
I still use mine all year around.

Chloe's Baby Quilt

One of my Daughter's sorority sisters was having a baby girl, named Chloe.  So I tried my FMQ
on this as a practice.

Not too bad and I'm sure the Baby Chloe will have this treasure forever.

A' Nylah's quilt.

A'Nylah   A co worker needed a quilt for her grand daughter.  I quickly made this one and appliqued the letters.  Something that I really need to take a class in!

Colorful thread work, Birds

I purchased the bird embroidery from Julia Needle Designs.  I am a very big fan of her work and it stitches out beautifully on my embroidery machines.   I have not finished this one as I am wanting to dabble in different types of boarders that look 3D.  So I have this set aside until I finish other UFO's.

Sample of Free Motion Quilting

I took a jelly roll and decided to just sew it together and practice my free motion quilting.
I think I got some good practice in.

Anita Goodesign Bags

These are the Anita Goodesign In the hoop zipper bags.  I made one to see what I could do if I took out the stitching part.  I was able to change it up a tad and place my own designs after the others were made.

Second Bag

The second tote bag

Snowman Red Work Quilt

I love Red work.  It reminds me of my Grandmother who actually hand embroidered.  I never learned the dying technique.   This was and is my favorite.

My Quilt Tote

Our ladies meeting we decided to do these large totes.  I made mine to fit a smaller sewing machine instead of taking my larger embroidery machine.  It worked out just perfect.  I made another later.

Julia Needle Design Chicken Towels

Julia Needle Design offered a Chicken embroidery set.  I decided to make myself some kitchen towels and they turned out just wonderful.
I ended up purchasing too many of her designs and just don't have more time to make them all.

Animals by Anita Goodesign Pattern

We all LOVE Animals.  This is from the Embroidery Anita Goodesign.  Animals.  All done in the hoop and then I made two as I just enjoyed how they used the Krinkle magic to almost make them 3D.

Stack and Whack Pattern

It's called a "Stack and Whack"  My very first one done with the Ladies quilting group at the local library.  Only about 4 of us but we each did one. I like the way the  spirals change when you flip the material.

My Sewing Enjoyment

I am using this blog to my advantage to house all my things that I like to make.  I have deleted all my other accounts and will just keep this one as I do not have the time to keep writing and creating stories etc.   My sewing enjoyment.  I started out making the United States quilt.  I used my sewing machine to FMQ the whole thing.  I should of broke out my washable markers!  Yet I will do another soon.
